On the morning of October 11, the company will first make a presentation to investors. A prototype should be presented to showcase a rough vision of Elon Musk’s company’s robotaxi prospects.

But some experts doubt its success. That’s why University of South Carolina professor Bryant Walker Smith believes he hasn’t seen “any sign that Tesla is working on new unmanned technology.” He is sure that Tesla has no developments in this direction, and otherwise the seller will openly test all this.

Jeff Osborne, an analyst at TD Cowen, believes Tesla is still doing some work and the robotaxi could be released before the end of the year. However, this won’t be a huge success as the potential event is unlikely to be meaningful and will “only appeal to true Tesla fans.”

But among experts there is also a supporter of the company – Wedbush analyst Dan Ives. He is confident that an unmanned taxi from Tesla is quite possible and can create a real revolution in the field of urban transport.
