Traditionally, producing items with different colors and textures required printers with different nozzles; This led to material waste and sudden transitions between polymers.
In contrast, the new method uses an unmodified two-nozzle printer. This structure regulates the temperature of specific areas by activating the thermosensitive components of the polymer to achieve different colors and textures.
Initial trials showed promising results.
