The DFA was published about one of Soviet and Russian abstract artist Yuri Zlotnikov’s paintings from the “Protosignals” series. A total of 900 DFAs were issued with a return of 22% per annum.

The issuer was Self Soft Production LLC, administrator of the art investment marketplace MyInvest.Art. The company specializes in creating platforms for the tokenization of assets, the Moscow Stock Exchange said in a statement. “We are confident that this project opens a new era of investment in contemporary art, making it accessible to a wide range of investors. We plan to offer investors new products that will allow them to make money from the increasing cost of works of art,” said Vladimir Shabason, founder of MyInvest.Art.

Moscow Stock Exchange General Director of Digital Assets Sergei Kharinov added that the release of digital assets for works of art is “an important stage in the development of financial technologies.” “In the future, this will allow investors to be offered a variety of financial products that expand the possibilities of diversifying their investments,” he said.

Since 2023, the Moscow Exchange is included in the register of DFA exchange operators and the National Settlement Depository (NSD) is included in the register of information system operators issuing such assets.

On October 8, the Moscow Stock Exchange began trading in new copper, aluminum, nickel and zinc futures, and on November 9, trading in shares of the X5 Group will begin, which will be included in the first level of trading.
