According to him, the long-awaited and desired updates will be minimal in the new flagship.
The main camera of the smartphone will remain the same, with a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 sensor, which will only receive a minor improvement in the manufacturing process without any significant changes in shooting quality.
As for the telephoto modules, the 3x optical zoom will still use the 10-megapixel Sony IMX754 sensor, and the 5x zoom will use the 50-megapixel IMX854 sensor with a pixel size of 0.7 microns, which is not a significant step forward.
The only notable upgrade will be the new 50 MP ISOCELL JN3 ultra-wide-angle sensor, which should offer slightly better image quality, but according to experts, this is not enough to consider the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s camera a serious step forward compared to previous models.
