Unlike the full Premium plan, which includes extra features like YouTube Music and downloading songs to your device, Premium Lite focuses solely on advertising. It is also worth noting that the removal of ads is not yet complete; YouTube describes this process as a “limited number of ads.”
According to the latest data, the tariff plan is currently being tested in Australia, Germany and Thailand.
In Australia, Premium Lite costs $11.99 per month, while the standard Premium plan costs $22.99. A lower price of $8.99 is being tested in some regions.
