The laboratories will be located on the basis of the Buryat State Agricultural Academy named after VR Filippov and will provide the opportunity to conduct research on the content of various substances in medicinal raw materials. It is also planned to process and produce pilot series consisting of biologically active additives (BAS), tea drinks, dry instant teas and extracts.
The project involves the participation of the Eastern Medical Center, which is actively involved in herbal treatment and uses 50 ready-made herbal mixtures and 100 mono-herbal mixtures. Ludupova stated that the new laboratory will allow the quality of medicinal plant raw materials to be tested according to the standards of the State Pharmacopoeia of the Russian Federation, which will significantly increase medical research opportunities in the region.
