The iPhone will soon cancel its 20th anniversary. Many users believe that the changes made in recent years are likely evolutionary rather than revolutionary. But Apple’s vice president of hardware engineering, John Ternus, disagrees.
He named Richard Dean as vice president of iPhone design, and in a memo said Dean was in charge of developing the iPhone plan. Ternus called the plan “the most ambitious product in history.” But Ternus did not voice any details.
According to rumors, Apple is currently developing two completely new iPhones. The first, iPhone 17 Air, is an ultra-thin smartphone with the biggest redesign since the iPhone X launched in 2017. It is expected to be released in 2025.
The second is a foldable iPhone. It will be made in the form of a clamshell with a flexible earphone, but it was not possible to release it in time. Most likely, it should not be expected before 2026.
