Testing included PlayStation 5 Pro with PSSR and PC with DLSS and FSR. Graphics settings on PC were as close as possible to console settings.

PSSR showed distinct advantages over FSR 3.1; provided sharper images and eliminated ghosting and artifacts.

While AMD technology has problems with object shaking and grass display at long distances, PSSR does not have these shortcomings.

However, NVIDIA’s DLSS 3.7 outperformed PSSR, offering a more stable image with less noise and distortion. DLSS also provides better removal of ray tracing artifacts thanks to Ray Reconstruction technology.

Experts emphasized that more tests with different games are needed to reach a final decision, which will be possible after the launch of PS5 Pro.
