It is reported that influencers will have access to 400 thousand advertisers of the Yandex Direct contextual advertising service. The company did not reveal the amount of investment in the project or the timing of the tests.

The platform operates according to the CPA (payment per specific action) model. Bloggers select a product to promote and post an affiliate link on their page, and advertisers pay for subscribers’ actions, for example, for purchasing a product on the site or if the user adds a product to the cart. The payment amount depends on many factors, including the type of product and the type of target action.

Partners will transfer funds to Yandex, and the company will transfer money to bloggers. Bloggers with an audience of more than 5 thousand subscribers on VK, Rutube, YouTube or Telegram will be able to connect to the site.

The platform for monetizing bloggers’ content is not Yandex’s first product for opinion leaders. Last July, monetization tests for Telegram channels began and a year later the company paid the channel owners 760 million rubles. The tool selects advertising through neural networks, taking into account the content and theme of the site. The new network will provide authors with the opportunity to create advertising content independently.

Forbes interlocutors note that the product may be in demand among companies due to the shortage of advertising material on the Russian market.

  • At the end of September, video hosting Rutube simplified the monetization system for bloggers. You will receive your reward daily in your virtual account. The minimum savings threshold for withdrawing funds was also reduced.
  • “Zen” began testing monetizing author content via subscription in May. The author can indicate the cost of a monthly subscription to his exclusive content: from 99 rubles to 100 thousand rubles.
  • The advertising platform SberAds (owned by Sber) is preparing to open monetization to owners of online platforms. Currently, the service allows advertising only on the bank’s own resources and on associated advertising networks.
