According to the federal company Etazhi, prices for one-bedroom apartments increased by 31% and for two-bedroom apartments by 29%. A study by Cian.Analytics showed that in cities with a population of more than a million inhabitants, rental rates for one-room apartments increased by 27% over the year and reached 34 thousand rubles, and for two-room apartments They increased in price by 21% to 49 thousand rubles.

Cian.Analytics Director Alexey Popov noted that in 2023 the rental growth rate was lower, but from October 2022 to October 2023, the rental price for one- and two-bedroom apartments increased by 20%.

According to Roman Zhukov, director of Yandex Rental, the average cost of studios in cities with more than one million inhabitants in October 2024 was about 32,000 rubles, 25.5% more than in the same period last year. The average rental price for one-room apartments reached 34 thousand rubles. This is 36.7% more than in 2023.

Etazhi lead analyst Alexander Ivanov called 2024 a record year in terms of growth in average rental prices. According to him, in Kazan and Krasnoyarsk the cost of one-bedroom apartments increased by 58% and 56%, respectively. In other large cities, such as Perm, Yekaterinburg and Rostov-on-Don, the increase ranged from 39% to 41%.

In summer, despite the traditionally low season, the cost of long-term apartment rental in Russia continued to rise, Kommersant writes. At the end of June, the average cost of renting a one-room apartment in Moscow increased by 7%, up to 61 thousand rubles per month.
