Sputniks, part of the Sitronics Group, has introduced a unique development that enables light-speed data transmission from orbiting satellites to the ground. In the X band, we are talking about a high-speed line that can transfer information at speeds from 600 to 1750 Mbit/s. This means that large amounts of data can now be transferred much faster than before.
The development team emphasized that the new unit is compact in size and weighs only 15 kg, so it can be installed on various satellites. This feature greatly simplifies the process of upgrading existing devices and increases their efficiency. Moreover, such equipment will allow Sputnik to significantly accelerate the mass production of satellites and optimize mass production costs.
It is also worth noting the versatility of the new equipment: it is suitable not only for Russian satellites, but also for foreign satellites. This opens new horizons for the company and strengthens its position in the satellite technology market, making Sputniks a more competitive participant in this dynamic industry.
