Skymec will present the XAG V40, P40 and P100 agricultural drones XAG, which specializes in agricultural solutions and food safety.

A feature of the XAG P40 and XAG V40 agricultural drones is the ability to spray and map areas using artificial intelligence. Autonomous control allows you to effectively process the object even in the most inaccessible places.

The new XAG P40 has an RTK module (Real Time Kinematic – methods for obtaining centimeter-accurate coordinates by extracting corrections from the base station, which are received by the user’s equipment during shooting). Its multi-directional radar array helps the drone avoid obstacles. Thanks to the double nozzles and the improved peristaltic pump, the flow rate of the working fluid during spraying reaches 10 l/min. The rotating disks and the motor ensure a uniform and agile treatment of the crops. With this functionality, the spraying efficiency is about 14.67 ha/h. Also, ease of transportation is important to an agronomist. The XAG P40 model has small dimensions and a compact fuselage. A distinctive feature of the novelty is the Smart SuperCharge B13960S battery. The kit consists of a charging station-generator and several electric batteries that are charged in 11 minutes.

In flight, the XAG P40 performs autonomous aerial photography, image stitching, and analysis to create HD maps of agricultural areas, as well as intelligent prescription maps for field boundary recognition and the most efficient route for the drone.

XAG P100 is the big brother of the XAG P40. The main difference between the P100 is the doubling of the pesticide tank, which can hold up to 40 liters, as well as the improved 60-liter tank for solids. The possibilities for the speed of land processing have been expanded, the width of capture has become up to 10 meters. The maximum fluid flow has increased to 12 liters per minute, which has a positive effect on processing. Due to the powerful motors and heavier weight, the XAG P100 better resists crosswinds and uses the effect of propeller turbulence, directing all droplets of working solution directly onto the crop with a stream of air. The revolutionary two-nozzle design of the XAG V40 with RevoSpray system ensures even and economical spraying of pesticides. A RealTerraTM button provides quick smart mapping, and radars let you detect and avoid obstacles.

“The XAG P40 and XAG V40 agricultural drones from XAG are a new milestone in the development of unmanned agricultural systems. The improved functionality ensures an increase in the efficiency of the UAV in the most difficult conditions. This is a big step forward in precision agriculture”, says Anton Larsen, Director of Industrial Solutions at Skymec.
