The Federal Tax Service (FTS) has selected a contractor who will develop the import substitution tax information system “Tax-3”. Telesputnik writes about this referring to the EIS procurement data.

The initial cost of the contract was almost 3.5 billion rubles. The name of the company that won the tender does not appear in the public procurement documents, but it is known that, in order to win, it reduced the initial price by 300 million rubles, to 3.2 billion rubles.
The start date of the contract is January 9, 2025, the contractor undertakes to complete the work no later than July 31 of the same year. It will develop an information system in three branches of the Federal Tax Service: in Dubna, Moscow region, Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod region and Moscow.
“Tax-3” allows the Federal Tax Service to automate the regulator’s activities in all areas, including receiving, processing, providing data and analyzing information, according to the agency’s website.
Currently, foreign software from Oracle, Microsoft, PostgreSQL, IBM and Cisco is used to operate the service’s software systems.
