Xiaomi presented a smart lamp that recognizes gestures and also, as the creators intended, can express “feelings”. The device has a built-in AI camera that allows the lamp to respond to human movements with different light intensities and display fear, joy, or calm.
The Chinese company Xiaomi has presented a novelty – a “smart” lamp Mijia Pipi Lamp, equipped with artificial intelligence.
The device has a built-in camera that tracks a person’s gestures and monitors their movements. For example, by opening the palm of the hand, the user tells the lamp to “move” the light behind the hand, and a two-finger gesture up will turn on the flashing mode.
The developers have invested in the basis of the AI system a model of the emotional state of PAD. Therefore, the device can express some “emotions” such as fear, calm and joy in response to human actions such as physical contact.
Xiaomi has not yet announced a sales start date, but announced a price of 499 Chinese yuan (5.9 thousand rubles).
