A detailed breakdown of component prices shows that Apple is starting to spend $11 more on the Apple A16 Bionic chipset compared to its predecessor. The 48-megapixel main camera and accompanying modules increased the cost of the new phone by about $6.30. At the same time, the cost of cellular components in the new iPhone 14 Pro Max is about 13% lower.
