“To make the collection points less worrying during the high season, we decided not to fine them until the end of the year based on the results of the audit. The fines imposed in October will be canceled,” the company explained.

A representative of the Market said that the exception would be a fine for violating the opening hours of the delivery point. Yandex Market notes that sellers and buyers must be able to send and receive orders on time. As of October 12, the company also reduced the period in which a member must be notified about the closure of an establishment, from 72 to 24 hours.

Marketplace has started accepting deliveries from sellers at the pickup point on a trial basis. The company noted that this makes it easier for sellers to find shipping slots and helps increase sales by delivering to customers the day after they place the order. This brings additional income to the owners of the collection point.

In the community of mutual assistance for owners and employees of the Yandex.Market collection point on Telegram RB.RU, we were able to find several messages that the owners of the collection point receive fines based on audits on a regular basis, for example, due to signs of supposedly inadequate quality.
