According to the publication, the Shokoladnitsa group transferred the rights to the Coffee House brand to Coffee House LLC, in which the company itself owns 5%. The company’s CEO, Illarion Tsekhanovich, has the same amount, and Levit owns 90% of the shares.

According to a Forbes source, Levit is a relative of Shokoladnitsa’s main owner, Alexander Kolobov.

The Coffee House franchise package was ready in the summer, after which the debugging of business processes and the opening of the first points in Moscow began. The company’s financial director, Yulia Efremova, said that franchise sales have already started and it is planned to open about 200 coffee points in two years.

“This partnership opens new horizons for our development. Our company, organized by a private investor, strives not only to preserve traditions, but also to bring new ideas to the world of coffee culture,” Efremova noted.

Next year, the network will focus on development in Moscow and the region, and then expand to the regions. Among the advantages of a franchise is a low entry threshold: the global fee is 450 thousand rubles, royalties are 5%, and initial investments are about 3 million rubles. The expected profitability for franchisees is 200 thousand rubles per month, and payback occurs within 15-18 months.

In the summer, the owner of Shokoladnitsa sold 100% of Panda Express Russia LLC, which since 2018 has franchised the American Chinese cuisine chain Panda Express. On August 8, the company was transferred to Inna Tokhsirova, who is associated with the Shokoladnitsa business and previously worked as general director of Skyeng LLC.
