TİSBI Management University students will create the UPost mobile application to publish and display event posters. The project, which remained just an idea for a long time, has now received support from the Innovation Promotion Fund, which allocated 1 million rubles for its development. This is a great step towards turning the app into a full-fledged startup.

Artur Sakharov, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Information Technologies and project manager, decided to start developing a cross-platform application. He and his team of musicians realized how difficult it was to promote their events and decided to create a solution to help up-and-coming artists. According to Arthur, many services either do not accept small events or charge high fees for it. UPost solves this problem by allowing users to find unique events and post their own posters.

Work on UPost started in February 2024, and during this time the team managed to develop a Telegram bot, almost complete a mobile application and start creating a website. There are five people in the team, each responsible for their own part of the project. One of the main tasks was the introduction of artificial intelligence for content moderation in order to avoid obscene words and prohibited materials in poster descriptions. The project has already received positive reviews at the Kazan Digital Week and received support from the Tatkultresurscenter State Budget Institution. According to Arthur, a grant of one million rubles will be a great start, and they plan to spend the funds on equipment, servers and promotions on social networks.
