According to the analysis, smartphone sales on Avito increased by 4% in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter. It is noteworthy that new smartphone sales increased by 16%, while the secondary market remained at the same level. Handheld devices still account for 75% of total sales.

Pavel Komarov, head of Avito’s Electronics and Home Appliances business area, noted two main trends: increased interest in new smartphones and the stable position of Chinese brands. The reason for this is the good price-quality ratio as well as official materials and authorized services.

Apple remains the best-selling device, accounting for 63% of all devices sold, up 4% from last quarter. The average price of a new iPhone is 56,400 rubles. While Samsung ranked second with a 12% share, its sales increased by 6%. Xiaomi ranks third with a share of 11%.

Among Chinese brands, the highest sales growth was seen in smartphones from Google (+37%) and Infinix (+29%). Meanwhile, HONOR and HUAWEI sales decreased by 34% and 20% respectively.
