The agency reported that the work will be carried out jointly with market participants and the Accounts Chamber. The price list is expected to help remove possible doubts from the Accounts Chamber over government procurement, which currently varies in price.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, reported RBC, at a meeting of the Association of Informatics and Information Technology Companies (APKIT) said that the Accounts Chamber had established facts of purchases by state companies of the same software. with similar volumes of licenses and licensing conditions, but “under completely different pricing conditions.” The Accounts Chamber saw in such actions dishonesty on the part of both clients and developers.
The price list will reportedly set a maximum price range that cannot be exceeded. It may vary depending on the volume of software purchased. According to the ministry, such a decision will make prices transparent, which is important in the context of the transition to domestic products.
The publication clarifies that the representative of the Chamber of Accounts did not discuss the results of the audits of the software developers, nor did he comment on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development.
