Test results for the new M4 Max processor have appeared in the popular Geekbench benchmark.
It scored 4060 points in single-core and 26675 points in multi-core mode. Notably, this is the first chip to cross the 4,000-score mark on Geekbench.
Depending on the platform rating, the M4 Max outperforms the top-end Intel Core i9-13900KS and Intel Core i9-14900KF chips. They scored 3136/21731 and 3095/20703 points respectively.
In addition, the M4 Max was about 30% more powerful than the M3 Max, which scored 3107 and 18901 points in single-core and multi-core modes. In the test, Metal Inventor received 192,532 points, which is also the standard among Apple chips.
