In the context of the escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel, on October 1 the Federal Air Transport Agency requested the temporary cessation of flights in the airspace of Israel, Iran and Iraq, as well as changes in routes to fly over these countries.
On October 2, flights over the territories of Israel, Iraq and Iran were allowed, but with temporary restrictions – from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Moscow time. The next day, restrictions on flights in these directions were extended until 02:59 Moscow time on November 3, 2024.
