According to Tatyana (the buyer’s last name is not indicated), a foreign object damaged her gum while she was eating. “Now I’m sitting there thinking how many of these braces I already have on me. It is good that the child does not eat black bread,” he shared.
Tatyana contacted Vkusville support, where she was informed that the bread was baked in the store’s bakery. As compensation, the retailer returned the cost of the bread (75 rubles) in the form of bonuses on his loyalty card. They also asked him to take the packaging, along with the metal clip, to the store for an internal investigation.
The Vkusville press service informed RB.RU that the company’s specialists examine all customer complaints together with suppliers and take “corrective measures.”
“We are in contact with the customer regarding this incident and an internal investigation is underway. It should be noted that we have verified all requests for this bread; So far no similar case has been recorded,” they stressed in the press service.
On October 30, Vkusvill commented on reports of unsanitary conditions at the Mozhaisk Confectionery House (MCD) production site. The retailer said it blocked MKD deliveries after the Moscow region prosecutor’s office began checking the company’s compliance with health requirements.
