Microsoft released Windows 11 update that redesigns one of the security features the most important thing. The latest beta version of the Insider program simplifies the process of authenticating with passkeys in Windows Hello. In a Windows blog post, Microsoft detailed the new features coming to the Windows 11 Insider beta. Build 22635.4440 includes a redesign Windows Helloa feature that allows you to log into your computer using biometric methods or a PIN code. The new version completely changes the user interface, adapting it to the design language of Windows 11.

Windows Hello debuted as a Windows 10 security feature that integrated biometrics such as fingerprint, iris, or face. Users can use fingerprint scanners or webcams for facial recognition, available on some laptops. Although this offering was innovative, its design and user interface were never updated with the advent of Windows 11.

The introduction of passkeys represents a security paradigm shift, so Microsoft has taken the opportunity to update its Windows Hello integration. The latest version of the security package includes new icon on the Windows 11 start screen. Users will be able to choose whether they want to log in using a fingerprint, PIN, USB key or password.

The changes prevent logins using QR codes on mobile devices. Instead of, Users can sync access keys with their Microsoft account. and access them from Windows 11. To do this, we must first verify our identity and the system will offer a list of passwords available for our account.
