The lawsuit was filed in Orange County on October 30 and alleges that agitators Tamiko Anderson and Patricia Kelly, as well as other employees, did not receive agreed-upon payments, reimbursement of expenses, and pay stubs. The Steele campaign denied involvement, saying the plaintiffs were not their direct employees.
The lawsuit follows recent allegations that pollsters in Michigan, also hired by contractor America PAC, faced poor working conditions and misleading information about their work for the Trump campaign. America PAC, funded by Musk with more than $100 million, has been actively campaigning despite ongoing reports of “irregularities” and “questionable data.”
Representatives of America PAC, Musk and the other defendants did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
