Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the budget version of Vision Pro should not be expected in the coming years. It was expected to be released in 2025, but production has now been scheduled.

According to Kuo, the budget helmet will be released after launch in 2027. The company decided to release because “simply lowering the price will not help create successful use cases.”

The analyst also said that the second generation Vision Pro with an M5 processor will be released in 2025.
