Apple has submitted a proposal to the Indonesian Ministry of Industry for a $10 million investment in the community. This money will be divided among several Apple partners who produce accessories and components for iPhones.
The department is still studying the proposal. It is not final and may be subject to change. But a decision will be made soon.
In October, Indonesia banned the sale of the iPhone 16 because Apple failed to meet its investment commitments.
