The President of the Association of Entrepreneurs for the Development of Business Patriotism “AVANTI” Rakhman Yansukov sent a letter to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, proposing to ban children under 14 years of age from accessing cable networks.

Yansukov cited the abundance of terrorist groups and “death groups” as the main reasons for this decision.

Recently, representatives of domestic business participated in the AVANTI association with a complaint about the presence of prohibited content on social networks, as well as the lack of legal regulation of children’s access to another site.

Adoption of the proposed changes will go a long way toward eradicating criminal violence and abuse against children on social media, as well as avoiding the risk of personal development based on misinformation and false disclosures.

To monitor compliance with the law, we propose a mandatory platform and introduce mandatory registration on social networks with confirmation of identity through a passport photograph. Previously registered hospital users must be re-verified.

Organizations that deviate from compliance with the law should have their activities limited. [Известия]
