Warner Bros. announced that for the 85th anniversary of Batman they will release a small-scale version of the Batmobile from the films of Christopher Nolan.
The company Action Vehicle Engineering is responsible for production, which will assemble as many as ten Tumbler cars. It is based on a tubular frame, the surface of which is mounted on external body panels made of fiberglass, carbon fiber and steel. All design elements completely copy the original vehicle.
The length of the car is 4.6 m, the width reaches 2.83 m, and the height is 1.52 m. The car weighs about 2.5 tons.
What’s most important: this Batmobile you can drive! A naturally aspirated V8 6.2 engine (LS3 from General Motors) with a power of 532 hp is responsible for this. and with a torque of 659 Nm. It is paired with a GM 4L85E four-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters.
This car even has turrets and a jet engine. True, they do not function. And driving this Batmobile on the roads is prohibited. But there is a functional button for releasing a smoke screen. You can drive around the yard and smoke. Why not an option!
Each glass will take about 15 months to assemble. Each copy costs $3 million. You can order it on the “official” website of Wayne Enterprises. [HypeBeast]
