Bloomberg reports that the European Planning Commission has fined Apple for “inadequate compliance” with the requirements of the Digital Market Act (DMA).

The reason for the fine is believed to be the company’s failure to implement required changes to the App Store that allow developers to add links to lower subscription prices depending on the App Store. The catch is that Apple did this, but developers are required to report external transactions and bear the upfront costs of in-app purchases and store maintenance.
