Microsoft had previously assured that the new version of the operating system supports most printers on devices with ARM processors and is compatible with the Mopria standard.
However, after the update, many users began to complain about not being able to install drivers of popular brands such as HP, Canon and Brother and not being able to use their printers, especially on ARM devices (such as Copilot + PC).
Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and has released recommendations to resolve this issue.
Users are recommended to connect the printer via Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners > Add Device or use a USB connection.
In addition to ARM, users of Intel and AMD processor-based devices have also encountered issues such as printer sharing errors, printing tasks freezing, and devices disappearing from the system.
