Elon Musk’s Tesla has launched Cybertruck electric van rentals in the United States. The lease term is two or three years, the minimum cost is 999 dollars per month (approximately 98 thousand rubles at the exchange rate of the Central Bank as of November 8). This is stated on the car manufacturer’s website.

If you lease a Cybertruck for three years and make a down payment of $7,500, your monthly payment before taxes and fees will be $999. An electric van can also be leased for two years with no down payment; In this case, the monthly payment will be almost 1.6 thousand dollars.
The rental cost also depends on the version of the electric car and the annual mileage (16 thousand km, 19 thousand km and 24 thousand km, $0.25 per 1.6 km). Additionally, if the client is late in payment, they must pay a 5% commission. You will also be charged for “excessive wear and tear” and early termination of the lease.
It is unknown if Cybertruck rentals will be available in other countries.
Musk announced the launch of an electric pickup truck in 2019, in 2023 Tesla assembled the first electric vehicle model and that same year the company delivered the first Cybertruck to customers. Currently, electric vans start at $74.5 thousand.
In October, Tesla published a financial report according to which, in the third quarter of 2024, the Cybertruck became the third best-selling electric vehicle in the United States, behind the manufacturer’s other models, the Model Y and the Model 3.
