According to Kravtsov, national operating systems are already actively used in education. In the future, it is planned to transfer to them “the completion of the tasks of the unified state exam in computer science,” the statement reads. The minister did not specify when this will happen.
The head of the Ministry of Education added that the department will work on the creation of a unified textbook on computer science and will invite teachers of Russian schools “to make their proposals for the study of national information technologies.”
Previously, Kravtsov stated that unified state textbooks on general education subjects will be ready by the end of 2025. “[Это] will ensure the quality and unity of the educational space. A complete transition to new textbooks is planned in the next five years,” he said.
A new history textbook for grades 10 and 11 was launched in Moscow in August 2023. Its authors were presidential advisor Vladimir Medinsky, MGIMO rector Anatoly Torkunov and scientific director of the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Chubaryan. In particular, a section on the Russian special military operation in Ukraine was added to the textbook.
