The united company Wildberries & Russ announced the appointment of Alexey Minaev as director of strategic development in the field of GR. Minaev has already started working in the department of interaction with government authorities. This was reported to RB.RU by the market’s press service.

“Alexey will be responsible for the GR strategy (GR – interaction with government agencies) of the merged company, regulatory issues and GR support for Wildberries’ business areas. We hope that Alexey’s strong knowledge and significant experience in genetic resources will strengthen the department’s team for interaction with government authorities,” said the Wildberries market.
To work at Wildberries, Alexey Minaev resigned from his position as deputy general director of the competing marketplace Ozon, where for three years he developed projects in the field of GR, RBC reported. Elena Zaeva from FAS will be appointed in her place.
The merger of the Wildberries market and the Russ advertising group was approved at the level of Vladimir Putin, who instructed the Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Oreshkin, to support this decision, the publication states.
