Additionally, there was a 40% decrease in the number of complaints about fake calls from July to November. Subscribers are less likely to report complaints about such calls to the call center. On average, users now talk to a scammer for about 40 seconds, and only 2% of calls last longer than 5 minutes.

Scammers most often call on weekdays, especially during business hours from 9:00 to 18:00. The highest activity is observed on Thursday, but 5% of calls occur on weekends.

MTS is actively fighting against scammers: 80% of numbers called by scammers are blocked within a day. The development of the Defender service is also ongoing, which includes the functions of blocking spam calls, warnings about possible scammers, decrypting dialogues with them and searching for data leaks.
