“This man ruined everything again… I didn’t want to become president of Russia, but first lady of France!” Kim wrote. The businesswoman’s press service RB.RU reported that she never had plans to run for president: “This is a lie, like everything Bakalchuk has conveyed in recent months.”

On November 21, Bakalchuk wrote on Telegram that in winter (he did not specify which year) Kim “got excited about the idea” of becoming president of Russia in 2030. The businessman claims that he then spoke to his wife about the need to “focus on current tasks.”

According to Bakalchuk, the “collapse” of his joint venture with his wife was due, among other things, to the fact that businessman Levan Mirzoyan (co-owner of RVB, created as a result of the merger of Wildberries and outdoor advertising operator Russ) promised to Kim support “to fulfill this dream.”

Wildberries and Russ announced their merger in June with the goal of creating a “modern, high-tech digital commerce platform.” As a result of the merger, the RVB joint venture was created.

Bakalchuk accused Russ of “takeover of the business by a raider,” and Kim explained her husband’s attempts to prevent the merger of the companies through the divorce proceedings that had begun between them. In July, Kim announced that she had filed for divorce from Bakalchuk.
