According to data from the Blender database, the M4 Max scored an average of 5208 points in 28 graphics tests, slightly higher than the RTX 4070 (5185 points) and RTX 3080 Ti (5125 points).
Despite this, the M4 Max is inferior to the mobile version of the RTX 4090 in graphics performance, which beats it by about 30%.
At the same time, the desktop version of the RTX 4090 is also difficult to find: its score in Blender reaches almost 11,000 points.
Rumor has it that the M4 Ultra processor, consisting of two M4 Max, could be a real breakthrough.
It is expected to be able to catch up with NVIDIA’s flagship graphics card and even break the record in Blender tests. We will find out very soon whether this is true or not.
