The N2 series, which includes N2P and N2X nodes, is built across the board around nanosheet FET (GAA) transistors. N2P is designed for client devices such as smartphones and entry-level computers. At the same time, the A16 node uses backplane power delivery network (BSPDN) to improve the performance of data center-class AI processors, but there are still thermal management issues.

A16 is expected to be critical for high-end processors, and N2X will further expand its capabilities with higher voltages suitable for demanding applications.
