An iPhone in 2024 will no longer surprise anyone. A particularly boring iPhone 16 Pro line, which has received minimal changes in relation to previous generations.

This year, all public attention is focused on the new Qualcomm product – the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which has surpassed even the top-end A18 Pro. Don’t believe me? Below are the proofs.

In the meantime, we’ll tell you about the new product from Realme – the flagship smartphone Realme GT 7 Pro, which has just been released, and has already overtaken its analog and showed aerobatics.

I’ll tell you why this “pipe” is special and why you should pay attention to it.

Briefly:

  • The set is rich. We didn’t expect anything else
Looks premium and lives up to it
Juicy and very memorable screen in place
A beast of a smartphone that even beats the iPhone 16 Pro Max
    Shoots great
Huge battery and 120W turbo charging.
I haven’t been so happy with an Android smartphone for a long time

The set is rich. We didn’t expect anything else

The company does not change its traditions and offers a smartphone with all the most modern bracelet:

► The Realme GT 7 Pro smartphone itself
► 120W charger for ultra-fast charging
► USB-C cable
► Protective case
► Documentation

Despite the lack of wireless charging, the gadget offers a huge wired battery, which is already a leader in its price category. More on this below.

Looks premium and lives up to it

I really like the color of the case

Realme GT 7 Pro has a premium design. The body of the device is made of glass and metal, which makes it solid and bright. It is the aluminum back panel that does not accommodate wireless charging, but the case is stronger than glass.

The square block camera is framed by a glass panel with a metal colored frame that matches the body. It’s a rare case when a camera doesn’t evoke a terrible feeling from the designers’ taste.

The dimensions of the device are balanced: at 8.6 mm thick and lighter than competitors such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the smartphone fits comfortably in the hand, despite the large screen and massive battery. It is compact enough for one-handed use, although it is smaller in size than the iPhone 16 Pro Max – for me personally this was a shock, because it is precisely because of the size that I do not like large smartphones.

The power and adjustment buttons appeared on the right. There is an infrared port next to the camera that allows you to use your smartphone to control various home devices, which is a great functional detail for users. There is also NFC for contactless payments and data exchange.

In this context, smartphones are matte, because they do not attract fingerprints, and are completely non-staining. Plus, thanks to this solution, the case does not turn into “soap” and is in no hurry to fly out of your hands.

The sound on the Realme GT 7 Pro doesn’t disappoint either. The smartphone is equipped with stereo speakers – they are really high quality. The sound is loud, clear and rich. Even at the far end there is no wheezing, which personally pleasantly surprised me. On the other hand, for this price category, it is not worth waiting for anything else and not worth paying for.

Juicy and very memorable screen in place

The display of the Realme GT 7 Pro is not just a screen, it is a true showcase of technology. The 6.78-inch HDR10+ OLED panel with Dolby Vision brings content to life. Rich colors, deep darkness and contrast all create a highly immersive experience.

The peak brightness here is 6500 nits! Shock? Well, of course, only such an indicator can be achieved in one small zone, so it most looks like slight deceit on the part of the manufacturer. The actual brightness over the entire area reaches 2000 nitswhich is also very cool. For comparison, the same figure for the iPhone 16 Pro Max is 1600 nits.

Thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate and 2600Hz sensor response rate, scrolling pages and switching between applications is always at the highest speed. At the same time, despite all these “lightning-fast” characteristics, the screen does not overload the eyes, which is especially important during prolonged use.

The cutout is not annoying at all

The energy saving system also plays a significant role: technology Eco² OLEDintegrating the polarizing film into the panel itself, reducing energy consumption, increasing autonomy. In fact, this is the world’s first smartphone in a monolithic form factor, which does not have a polarizing layer.

All this makes the Realme GT 7 Pro display not just pleasing to the eye, but also a smart approach in terms of power saving, which is rarely seen in devices with the same brightness and power saving technologies.

Finally, there is an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. And it works even with wet handsThe gadget can be unlocked even under water.

A beast of a smartphone that even beats the iPhone 16 Pro Max

It’s just made for gaming

The performance of Realme GT 7 Pro is far behind 99%, this is truly a flagship level.

The heart of the smartphone is the top-end Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 12 GB of RAM (for Russia; in extreme versions and for China – 16 GB) LPDDR5X and fast UFS 4.0 memory with a capacity of 256 or 512 GB, depending on the model.

This combination provides excellent test results. Watch your fingers:

📲 AnTuTu: 2.7 million points

📲 Geekbench 6 (single-core mode): 3044 points
📲 Geekbench 6 (multi-core): 9221 points

For comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the A18 Pro processor collects 3403 and 8389 points in the geekbench, respectively. Yes, it wins in single-core mode, but in multitasking it is much inferior to its competitor in synthetic technologies.

Gaming performance is also top notch, with GT Mode 3.0 improving graphics and making games run smoother, minimizing lag and enhancing visual richness. In such conditions, this is conceivable when playing in complex projects, like the already established Genshin Impact.

The smartphone demonstrated excellent stability on ultra graphics settings at 60 FPS (AI Gaming Super Resolution technology raises this figure to 120 FPS) and did not even throttle after half an hour, as was the case before. I will say even more, thanks to the game AI here you can increase image resolution to 1.5Kwhich is twice more than 720p.

Thanks to such a powerful processor and excellent optimization, Realme GT 7 Pro easily copes with many tasks, providing simply amazing speed. During the entire testing period, I did not see a single lag or microfreeze (now, alas, even an iPhone cannot manifest itself like this).

Shoots great

And how I still like the design of the camera block

The Realme GT 7 Pro’s camera is one of those features that can surprise even the most demanding users.

Immediately noteworthy is the presence of two 50-megapixel sensors, both with optical stabilization (OIS). The wide-angle lens combined with the main light gives excellent results when shooting landscapes or large groups of shots, without losing quality even in corner shots.

The second 50MP sensor is a telephoto with 3x optical zoom, which allows you to take closer photos without losing detail. There is even a 6x zoom mode. And although this is digital sound, you won’t notice any significant loss.

The smartphone worked perfectly even the wool

Finally, the third module is represented by an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor. Nothing special here. Already standard photos for Android smartphones in good lighting.

Particular attention should be paid to the special underwater shooting mode, which, in essence, turns the GT 7 Pro into a gadget for lovers of water activities, if you suddenly forgot to take your GoPro with you. The smartphone received standard protection IP69 (from 30 minutes to 2 meters in Europe).

The front camera is equipped with a 16 MP sensor with improved stabilization, which is suitable for selfies or video calls in any lighting.

In terms of video, the Realme GT 7 Pro allows you to record videos in 4K with optical stabilization.

Huge battery and 120W turbo charging.

The last highlight of the gadget was its large battery. 6500 mAh. This is a real monster among smartphones.

he learned to work all day even with intensive use. Thank you, you can also say the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and the energy-efficient OLED panel.

In my tests, the smartphone easily withstood more than 10 hours of active use, including games and videos or using multiple applications simultaneously. I don’t even remember if I charged the device a couple of times in almost a week.

Particularly impressive is the support for 120W fast charging. The smartphone charges from 0 to 100% in a little more than half an hour – this is one of the best market indicators. In just 13 minutes you can increase the charge to 50% from zero.

At the same time, the GT 7 Pro does not overheat thanks to the advanced cooling system. Even my iPhone 15 Pro gets twice as hot.

I haven’t been so happy with an Android smartphone for a long time

The top-end Realme GT 7 Pro was able to truly surprise me.

This is a smartphone that perfectly combines power and style: Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 6500 mAh battery, a state-of-the-art OLED screen and powerful 120 W charging – all this gives the new product one of the main places among flagships.

The new product is available in colors Martian sand And Galaxy gray. You can already get access to DNS, M.Video, OZON, Wildberry and Yandex Market. Prices:

Realme GT 7 Pro, 12/256 GB: from 89,999 rubles
