MTS analyzed the Russian smartphone market for the first ten months of this year.
From January to October, 24.1 million devices worth 582 billion rubles were sold in the country. This is 0.5% more in units and 13% in days than in 2023. The highest growth was demonstrated by smartphones costing from 80 to 100 thousand. rubles
Sales of smartphones in this category increased by 96% in units and by 65% in money. In total, 539 thousand of these smartphones were sold for 48 billion rubles. Apple traditionally leads.

Sales grew in all price categories, except for smartphones costing up to 10 thousand rubles. Their figures decreased by 18% in pieces and by 11% in money.
The leader among models in the 80-100 thousand rubles segment was the iPhone 15 with 128 GB. The top three also included the iPhone 15 with 256 GB and the Samsung Galaxy S24 with 256 GB.
Most often, expensive devices were purchased in Moscow – 22%. Also, such smartphones are actively purchased in St. Petersburg (4%), Yekaterinburg (3%), Kazan (3%) and Samara (2%).
