Foldable cell phone market shaken as Japanese brand ZTE wants to make a splash with its Libero Flip, which promises to have the same functions as Galaxy Z Flip 5but at a much lower price.
ZTE’s new foldable phone is priced at 63,000 yen ($420), but pre-orders receive a huge discount, bringing the final price to 39,800 yen ($265), making it the most popular foldable phone available today.
The ZTE Libero Flip features a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 1.43-inch round-top secondary display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The secondary display, called the secondary display, allows you to take calls, control media playback, and can also act as a viewfinder for using the main camera on the back.

Other features of ZTE Libero Flip
- There is a 50MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor, while the 6.9-inch main display also houses a 16MP front-facing camera housed in the notch.
- Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
- Android 13 with ZTE UI on top and ZTE has brought some features specific to foldable devices that allow menu options to be separated on either side of the foldable screen.
- 4310 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, compatible with Quick Charge 4+ and PD3.0 standards, and IP42 water and dust protection.
- ZTE Libero Flip comes in white, gold and blue colors. Sales open on February 29.
