Developed by the Shanghai Academy of Space Flight Technology under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the Long March 12 is China’s largest rocket to date, with a diameter of 3.8 meters. This design allows you to carry 30% more fuel than previous models, which increases payload capacity. It can carry 12 tons of payload to low Earth orbit and more than 6 tons to sun-synchronous orbit.
China’s efforts are part of broader goals to achieve a manned Moon landing by 2030 and expand the country’s “global space presence.”
