The third generation iPhone SE, introduced on March 8, 2022, celebrates its 1000th anniversary.
The first iPhone SE was released in 2016. This model was based on the design of the iPhone 5s, but equipped with the flagship A9 chip and an advanced plate. Subsequent iterations followed the following formula: the second-generation iPhone SE in 2020 received the iPhone 8 design and the A13 Bionic chip, while the third generation was launched in 2022 with another leap in processing power thanks to the A15 Bionic chip.
There have been a lot of rumors about the iPhone SE 4 lately. Apparently, the smartphone will have the design of the iPhone 14 with a 6.1-inch OLED screen. Face ID will replace Touch ID. It is also assumed that the device will receive an A18 processor.
The new generation is expected to show in the spring of 2025.
