The bank has reportedly stopped using third-party firmware. The company has implemented its own online tools to monitor and restore the health of self-service devices.

Sber is currently completing software development for ATMs running on the Linux operating system. In addition, the bank uses several Russian vendor solutions that it does not plan to replace. In total, 14,000 electronic queue devices migrated to Linux.

The bank claims that in 2018 they decided to switch to their own software for the ATM network. Its own development allowed Sber to fully manage the creation of products to achieve the required level of reliability, security and independence.

Recall that Sberbank is under US blocking of sanctions.
