In Russia, service has been launched at the MFC without presenting a passport. It takes place on the basis of the state unified biometric system (UBS).

A visiting employee simply needs to look at the camera installed at the MFC workplace to confirm his identity. After completing the identification process, the MFC operator receives a preliminary application for the provision of the service. This significantly speeds up the service process.

The Chelyabinsk region became the first region where service was launched at the MFC without the need to present a passport. By the end of the year, a similar project is being prepared in the Lipetsk and Leningrad regions. Based on the results of the pilot, we are scaling the service in other regions of the country.

It is important that the use of biometrics is voluntary and is an addition to existing service methods. As a result, the person himself chooses how it is convenient for him to receive the service – using a passport or using biometrics.
