The company chose 10 collectible figures of dogs of different breeds as toys. The new product will be available for order until March 2, 2025 in fast food restaurant chains nationwide, Rostic’s clarified.
The face of the combo was Milana Khametova, a blogger popular with children and teenagers. The idea of creating a collection arose thanks to one of his songs, in whose video a dog named Deepik appeared. This mascot has become the main character in boxing, the company noted.
Some KFC restaurants in Russia were renamed Rostic’s in honor of the American holding company Yum! Brands has closed a deal to sell its Russian business. The new owner was the national company Smart Service. The purchase amount was not disclosed.
In September of the same year, Kommersant, citing sources, wrote that one of the largest KFC franchisees in Russia refused to change the signs for Rostic’s. Experts interviewed by the newspaper considered that the decision was justified, since Rostic’s is not yet as well known among consumers as the American brand.
