According to Yonha News, the presentation will be limited to showing an image or video, and the full launch of the device will take place in the third quarter of 2025.
The glasses will work on an Android-based platform developed by Samsung together with Google.
Functionality will include augmented reality (XR) technologies, gesture control and contactless payment. It is said that the device will not have a screen and will weigh approximately 50 grams, reminiscent of Ray-Ban smart glasses.
Samsung also plans to introduce the XR platform in December 2024, which will be an important step in the development of the company’s smart device ecosystem.
