Microsoft experts admitted that they have identified 14 “serious” bugs and flaws related to the release of the 24H2 update as of December 6, 2024. According to The Register observers, the number of errors will increase with the distribution of the new Windows 11 build.

Some of the main critical errors are considered to be errors in Ubisoft games, the operation of USB drivers that support the eSCL protocol, and preventing the installation of the 24H2 update on Asus computers. This issue also includes issues that users of the Asphalt 8 game experienced on their computers after updating Windows 11 to create 24H2.

Reviewers called this number of errors depressing and advised users who do not want to constantly fix operating system errors to disable the automatic installation of Windows updates.
