The Yandex Cloud cloud platform has developed its own modules for the open source infrastructure management tool Terraform and made them publicly available on GitHub, a Yandex Cloud representative told RB.RU.
Modules also help avoid code duplication.
Terraform is a tool for building and managing infrastructure in the cloud (such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). With Terraform, you can describe your infrastructure as code, and then deploy and manage it automatically without the need for manual data entry.
Yandex Cloud has been supporting Terraform since 2018. Cloud platform modules allow you to create Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MySQL and ALB clusters, VPC and Security Group.
