Drone Solutions’ valuation is not disclosed. Of the 80 million rubles, the IMF invested 50 million rubles. Drone Solutions develops, produces and deploys unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for monitoring and logistics applications. The company’s flagship is the “Aist” vertical take-off and landing aircraft, capable of carrying a load of up to 10 kg and flying a distance of up to 500 km.

“The investments received will allow the company not only to increase the production volume of unmanned aerial vehicles, including the Aist model, but also to update the machine park for the installation of radio-electronic equipment. These measures will help improve the quality of products, increase the efficiency of production processes and reduce the time needed to launch new models,” said IMF Managing Director Oleg Teplov.

Drone Solutions was founded in 2018. The company’s drones can be used to detect forest fires, in geodesy, road construction, energy and other fields. The manufacturer’s immediate plans are to expand its geography and enter new markets, including the marine applications market, including environmental monitoring and rescue operations.

The unmanned aerial vehicle developer has attracted investment before. In 2022, the IMF and an anonymous private investor invested 20 million rubles in the company, and in 2023, Voskhod invested 170 million rubles in it. According to Rusprofile, in 2022 Dron Solutions LLC’s revenue amounted to 13 million rubles, up from 20 million rubles in 2021, with a net loss of 14 million rubles.
